The Holy Land

Some of my most favorite memories and pictures to lightly summarize a trip that was life-changing. The very last picture is of the Mercy Seat. The Mercy Seat was God’s design to the Israelites and it held the 10 Commandments and Scrolls and Aaron’s Staff, all from Exodus. It was to be taken into the Holy of Holies after all steps in the Tabernacle were completed, which included the sacrifice of animals for their antonement and forgiveness of sin. It has Two Angels guarding the top. This would later be revealed in the New Testament when Christ became our sacrifice and no longer were any sacrifices necessary for the forgiveness of sin.

John 20:11-12: But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept, she stooped to look into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. Suddenly, this fresh truth exploded into my soul, back in the Fall of 1991 and the Bible became ALIVE, because Jesus was NOT in tomb, but was ALIVE. All the scriptures came alive in Israel with Archiology, Prophesy and how everything is rapidly becoming ready for the return of Christ. GOD is EVERYWHERE and you don’t even have to look, and I hope that possibly in my posting, that if you don’t know Jesus, this may open a way to Him. There is no other name but the name of Jesus!
