People Who Love People

Every trip becomes more real when you meet different people all over and we look forward to this almost as much as seeing so many magnificent places.  I would love to show you some of those along the way of our journey to Italy, Greece and Turkey and know that each person you will see had a personal impact on our trip and our hearts in one way or another.

  • Meeting Captain Kate in person in Ephesus….such a huge treat for me!

Our first waiter in Rome and was such a delight!

Met both him and his Dad at a private tasting in Tuscany and enjoyed his beautifully curated wines.

Since Captain Kate was actually doing vacay with us on the Ship, Captain Dimitris was our Captain.  He was so witty, has an amazing record in the cruise industry and a spiffy dresser.

The owner of our private oil tour.

We were richly blessed to hang out with Dimitris all day. This was the second time he was our private tour guide and by a wonderful chance of good luck and blessing we were able to meet up with him for the day.  We weren’t suppose to go to Katakalon, but they diverted from some bad seas from Sicily to the Isle of the Olympics.  Our huge gain!

Our excellent driver and tour guide, Niko and great enthusiast all things Crete.  He has lived in Crete his entire life.

NOT too many cooks in this kitchen.  These are world-class Greek Momma Chefs. INCREDIBLE Food!

This precious woman, Edna, has served 23 years on Celebrity and her family waits for her returns about every seven months.  Had a heart of service and love!  I will never forget her!

Gabriel was one of the most enthusiastic tour guides ever and we had a great day with him in Santorini.

SIMPLY the BEST Cruise Director we have ever had on any ship.  We love you Luigi.  Gracias!

A precious Turkish Man working in this well-known Turkish Candy Shop in Instanbul.

Met some great people from San Antonio and enjoyed several wonderful dinners together.  It was so nice to hang with you Kari and Brian.

One of the happy cruise servers on the ship.

Just one more of Luigi.  We sure miss him!

Vera Vera Vera….where have you been all my life.  Our tour guide in Amalfi and she was such a hoot and we loved when she would say “Mamma Mia”
